Our Services
Accurate and comprehensive RF signal path studies (or projections) are vital and required documentation in today’s dynamic, often confusing, and ever-challenging RF environment in order to validate that wireless SCADA and telemetry data networks will consistantly meet stability, reliability, and performance expectations.
Our computer-predicted RF signal path and coverage projections provide Water/Wastewater (or similar) network operators (*), planners, engineers, RFP writers, and RF service and installation contractors with the communication parameters (i.e. RF transmit power; receiver signal strength; signal fade margins; antenna types and heights; geographic terrain profiles; land clutter data; and, an overall site/network map) required between each network site for those networks utilizing FCC licensed narrowband VHF (150-174 MHz), UHF (450-470 MHz) or, licensed narrowband 900 MHz spectrum in the United States.
We also offer optional consulting services associated with the RF design aspects of new wireless SCADA/telemetry data systems or, the updating or optimization of an existing system, the recommendation of a qualified and reputable FCC license preparation service if needed and, provide general guidance on FCC rules and compliance requirements, all based on our 40+ years of knowledge and real-world experience.
We do NOT represent any radio or wireless device manufacturers nor do we sell or service any radio or wireless products, parts, or related components. Our focus is on coverage predictions and consulting.
(*) An Operator is typically a local or regional government agency, public or private utility, or an industrial company, who is responsible for the day-to-day control and management of their wireless water/wastewater or similar purpose SCADA/telemetry data system.
